Biography

I am an Assistant Professor and Internship Director in the Department of Public Administration and Policy Analysis at SIUE. I earned an MPA and a Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with an emphasis on Public Financial Management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University-Bloomington. My research interests lie in strategic human capital management, organizational psychology, and public and nonprofit administration. In addition to my academic background, I have substantial public sector experience as a governmental consultant, policy analyst, and nonprofit program director.
