Biography

Ann Gaba is a Registered Dietitian (RD), New York State Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN), a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (FAND). Prior to joining the CUNY faculty in 2008, Dr. Gaba worked as a Clinical Nutritionist at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (now New-York Presbyterian Hospital) for more than 18 years, where she served as inpatient nutritionist for the cardiovascular, organ transplant, and oncology units. She has also been the consultant nutritionist at the Huntington’s Disease Center of Excellence at Columbia University. Dr. Gaba is an Assistant Professor of Nutrition and the founding Director of the Dietetic Internship at the City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy.
