My research work has appeared in several journals including the Journal of Communications of ACM, Journal of Industrial Management and Data Systems, Journal of Information Technology Cases and Applications, Journal of Computing and Information Technology and Journal of Scientific and Industrial Research. Foreign Travel Though born in India, as a child I grew up in Nepal and traveled extensively within that beautiful country, spending many years in places such as Kathmandu (Capital of Nepal), Phokhra to little known places like Biratnagar, Birgunj, Dharan, and Banglung, a little village that has spectacular views of Dhaulagiri (which means White Mountain), seventh highest mountain in the world (26,794 feet) located in Annapurna range in Himalayas. Besides traveling extensively in northeastern states such as Tripura and Manipur and trekking in Himachal Pradesh in India, I have also traveled to Bhutan, United Kingdom, Holland, Canada, Mexico, Belize, Honduras and United States. Outside Interests I love trekking in mountains of Himachal Pradesh in India , and have trekked to a height of 13,600 feet. I also love to travel to remote places in India and learn about cultures and customs of people there. My love of wild life frequently takes me to nature preserves in India to look for tigers on the back of elephant (having a brother in Indian Forest Service certainly helps!). I also dabble in photography and batik paintings. Enjoy most music and reading.
