Biography
Emily Mason is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in various teaching environments. She began her academic journey by earning a teaching degree from Buena Vista University in 2015. After graduation, she relocated from Iowa to Las Vegas to pursue a career in education, teaching 2nd grade at an Arts Integration school. Subsequently, she moved to Arkansas, where she taught 1st, 4th, and 5th grades, further broadening her teaching expertise.
In addition to her classroom experience, Emily has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and specialization. She holds two master's degrees: one in Early Childhood Education and another in Special Education. Her passion for understanding the psychological impacts of trauma and adoption led her to work with the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) in developing a curriculum for their Postpartum Doula course.
Currently, Emily is a doctoral student at the University of Arkansas, with an anticipated graduation in December 2025. Her academic and professional pursuits underscore her dedication to advancing educational practices and supporting diverse student needs.
