Biography

Hang (Bill)'s research focuses on computational and experimental fluid dynamics, biofluidic and biomechanics, particle image velocimetry, multiphase flow modeling, fluid-solid interaction modeling, discrete phase models, non-Newtonian fluid modeling, fire models, machine learning and deep learning. Specifically, he worked/works on: Hemodynamic Characteristics in human cerebral aneurysms Multiphase flow modeling in the human pulmonary system Ocular drug delivery in realistic human eye models Pharmaceutical aerosols and particles transport behaviors in human respiratory systems COVID-19 virus-laden droplets transmission in the airplane cabin Dye diffusion modeling for blood flow velocimetry pathway Fire and combustion dynamics and models in LPG/LNG/H2/battery industries Risk and hazard analysis in chemical engineering processing industries Effects of air pollution on human health Machine learning/deep learning and big data for aiding clinical diagnosis.
