Biography

A Research Associate Professor and the director of the Laryngeal Biomechanics Lab in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Cincinnati. I did my Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, focusing on the fluid dynamics of pulsating jets. My research bridges the realms of engineering and medicine, with a keen focus on applications related to respiratory and vocal mechanisms. As a principal investigator, I led groundbreaking projects totaling more than $7 million in research funding from prestigious institutions such as NIH and NSF. I also have more than 40 peer-reviewed publications, several patents, and numerous national and international conference presentations.
