Biography

For most of the past 25 years, I worked in the Tissue Engineering and Sarcoma Biology as well as the Biomaterials Histomorphometry Core Laboratories within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. My previous role was Sr. Program Coordinator, however I held both Administrative Manager and Operations Coordinator positions during this timeframe. In those roles, I worked with over 50+ visiting students, fellows, and scientists. Working with senior leadership, I established appropriate projects to align with their individual goals and career aspirations through transparent monitoring to evaluate their progress. I serve as a resource for Mayo staff, maintaining networks and communication flow, and representing Mayo to outside entities. I utilize leadership qualities, team management, and interpersonal skills to orient research personnel and representatives of outside companies, foundations, or institutes to the policies and procedures of Mayo Clinic. I impart a strong emphasis on professional competencies, superior customer service, team performance, and the ability to communicate effectively throughout the entire process. I have demonstrated the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams, monitor performance against plan, deliver program management best practices, leadership, versatility, commitment to results, compassion, and the desire to continuously improve.
