Our Story Meet Todd Brown, 180 Medical’s Founder In 1994, I was injured in a motocross accident that left me paralyzed from the chest down. In an instant, my whole world changed forever. Once I left the rehabilitation facility and transitioned back to living at home, I faced all kinds of new challenges and problems. As some of you may know, adjusting to the reality of life in a wheelchair is extremely difficult. As if things weren’t already hard enough, dealing with constant urinary tract infections that first year was almost too much to handle. Fortunately, I met some good friends who were also in chairs. They opened my eyes to a new universe of products like closed system catheter kits, which are specifically aimed at reducing the risk of UTIs. When I started using these products, my body no longer felt fatigued all the time from fighting infection. I didn’t have to waste time cleaning and reusing my catheters. Plus, I regained a lot of independence and confidence. I felt like my life had turned around! Not long after that, I decided to create a company with the sole purpose of getting these products to other people in similar situations so their lives could be turned around too. 180 Medical’s mission is to provide education, unparalleled service, and a wide variety of quality products.
