Located on the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville, Virginia, TJAGLCS is the preeminent legal institution in the federal government that enables successful military operations which comply with the rule of law in both peace and war. We educate, develop, and inspire trusted legal professionals, commanders, and other leaders through unparalleled legal education and training, collection and integration of legal lessons learned, modernized doctrine, leadership development, strategic planning, and the advancement of military legal capabilities in support of the Army, the Joint Force, and the Federal Government. Our primary focus is to develop and sustain the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps’ ability to provide world-class legal advice while stewarding the Corps into the future.
