That's why The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is on a mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families. How? We fund life-saving blood cancer research around the world, provide free information and support services for patients and their families, and are the voice for those seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care. Our Bold Goal By 2040, LLS will enable people with blood cancer to gain more than one million years of life. This means more birthdays, more graduations, more cherished moments and memories with family and friends. Our Organizational Strategy: Extending and Improving Lives We're looking to the future, evolving, and strengthening strategic investments in critical areas to accelerate our impact and broaden our reach. By expanding research, services, and access for all people with blood cancer; fostering innovative partnerships; and mobilizing a growing community of volunteers and supporters, we'll continue to grow our comprehensive circle of care offering vital resources from diagnosis through survivorship. We've made tremendous strides. Some blood cancers can now be cured and others that were once fatal can be managed as long-term chronic conditions. So, we measure our progress not just by cures, but by all those who can live long, active lives after a blood cancer diagnosis. LLS accelerates ideas into breakthroughs that extend and improve lives, giving those with blood cancer more time to enjoy what they love with those they love.
