Description
The goal of the Louisiana NASA EPSCoR program is to foster the development of an academic research enterprise in the State of Louisiana directed toward long-term, self-sustaining, nationally-competitive capabilities in aerospace and aerospace related research.
The national NASA EPSCoR program is designed to build and expand the science and engineering research, education, and technology capabilities in states that have historically received lesser amounts of federal research and development (R&D) funding. The goal of this website is to build and expand those same capabilities with Louisiana institutions that traditionally under-participate in EPSCoR competitions.
Researchers across the state are encouraged to explore this website and learn about the funding opportunities made available by NASA, from travel grants and seed funding to significant 3-year research awards.
Guidelines for open competitive opportunities are listed on our [Current Solicitations](http://lanasaepscor.lsu.edu/?page_id=118) page. For more on our program history, management, and goals see the [About LA NASA EPSCoR](http://lanasaepscor.lsu.edu/?page_id=213) page. For questions about this site, contact our Content Manager, [Colleen H. Fava](mailto:colleenf@lsu.edu).
