Massachusetts Office on Disability

The Massachusetts Office on Disability (MOD) provides information, guidance, and training on disability-related civil rights and obligations. Using our expert knowledge, we help people with disabilities understand their rights and opportunities to improve access. We also help cities, towns, places that serve the public, and state government agencies understand their accessibility obligations. MOD is a small state agency that promotes access, inclusion, and equal opportunity for people with disabilities in Massachusetts. We serve government agencies and the general public, which includes individuals, businesses and other groups. Our main focus is helping people understand how disability laws and regulations apply in their situation and explore their options.
