Minnesota Energy Resources supports initiatives for community and neighborhood development, health and human services, arts and culture, education and environment. The company matches its employees’ charitable giving to those initiatives. Qualified charitable organizations in the [Minnesota Energy Resources service area](https://accel.minnesotaenergyresources.com/company/area.aspx) are welcome to apply for support, provided they meet the guidelines. Contributions are presented by Minnesota Energy Resources, in partnership with the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation, a private charitable foundation supporting Minnesota Energy Resources. The foundation is funded by shareholders of WEC Energy Group.
