Mission Statement
The Mission of the National Sheep Industry Improvement Center is to improve the infrastructure of the U.S. sheep industry by strengthening and enhancing the production and marketing of sheep and sheep products.
Goals
Financial assistance provided by the Center is to accomplish one or more of the following goals in harmony with the Center's purposes as stated in the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (Pub. L. 110-246).
1. Increasing production or improving production efficiency
2. Improve marketing efficiency and product quality
3. Promote industry coordination and communication
