Office of Legislative Information Services

The Office of Legislative Information Services provides objective, nonpartisan legislative analysis and enhances congressional access to timely and authoritative legislative information through Congress.gov. The office also works in partnership with other Library units, the Clerk of the House of Representatives, the Secretary of the Senate, the Government Publishing Office and other legislative branch offices in order to ensure accurate, timely and complete access to legislative information. The office develops innovative tools to improve understanding of legislative documents, responds to congressional queries about the use and content of legislative information systems, and maintains authoritative Member and staff data records.
