**Values**
The Office on Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) operates under the values of the [Administration of Children and Families](https://www.acf.hhs.gov/about/acf-vision-mission-values) and the [Federal Strategic Action Plan on Services for Victims of Human Trafficking in the United States](http://www.ovc.gov/pubs/FederalHumanTraffickingStrategicPlan.pdf) (PDF).
In addition, OTIP strives to be:

- Developing anti-trafficking strategies, policies, and programs to prevent human trafficking
- Empowering health and human services to respond to human trafficking
- Increasing victim identification and access to services
- Strengthening health and well-being outcomes of survivors of human trafficking
