**We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive** The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) is Oregon's principal agency for helping Oregonians achieve well-being and independence. We provide direct services to more than 1 million Oregonians each year. These services are a key safety net for people in diverse communities across Oregon. **Our strategic plan goal areas are:** equity, Tribal relationships, technology, data, workforce, operations and cross-agency collaboration. The plan is based on existing input from staff, partners and communities. It focuses on shoring up our foundations. This is largely internal work which will help us work together to serve?people, communities, and Tribes better. **Community and staff** will be engaged during the implementation of the plan, which started in June 2024. Thank you to the many staff and community members who offered their stories, feedback and ideas during the development of the plan.
