Our Work The Oregon Public Health Division works to protect and promote the health of all Oregonians and the communities where they live, work, play and learn. Listed below are key efforts currently underway that help us achieve our mission. Public Health Modernization Oregon's plan for modernizing our governmental public health system Public Health Accountability Metrics Oregon’s Public Health Advisory Board (PHAB) established a set of accountability metrics to track progress towards the modernization of Oregon’s public health system State Health Improvement Plan Priorities for improved health in our state, based on data from the State Health Profile State Health Assessment and Indicators The State Health Assessment (SHA), based on the state health indicators, is one of three prerequisites for public health accreditation Public Health Division Strategic Plan Our vision, mission, values and goals Partnering with Community-Based Organizations We partner with community-based organizations to fund public health work in local communities.
