Description
This site is dedicated to visitors and non-members as well as to members of the NCPMI chapter. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. Our chapter was chartered in 1985 and has over 3,500 members (the 14th largest in the world). This page will answer many questions you may have about our organization, our local chapter, and Project Management in general.
Chapter membership puts you in contact with a local "network of expertise" and ongoing opportunities for face-to-face contact with peers from a wide variety of organizations and industries.
Our chapter is primarily comprised of Project Managers and professionals in Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunications, and Information Technology. However, we are always looking for ways to make our chapter more diverse--and stronger. You don't have to be a member to attend our meetings, but membership offers significant benefits:
**Such as opportunities to:**
- Learn more about Project Management
- Network with practicing Project Managers
- Create meaningful relationships
- Learn more about the leadership of a professional organization
- Contribute to the Advancement the PM Profession
- Acquire sound education
**Connect with us.**
Our web site and our monthly newsletter are gateways to all the resources we offer. Members have full access to our web site, receive discounts on event registration fees and are automatically added to our newsletter distribution list.
If you haven't yet decided to join NCPMI but would like to keep up with what's going on, we encourage you to take a moment and subscribe to our monthly newsletter.
**Provide innovative and sustainable opportunities for the professional growth of its members and the advancement of the Project Management profession.**
