Robert and Frances Chaney Family Foundation

MISSION To benefit the welfare of children and families and to support public safety. VISION 1. Children and families receive the help they need to overcome abuse, addiction and poverty so they can have a brighter future. 2. Public safety providers have the skills and equipment needed to protect and save lives. 3. Families are provided a solid foundation through faith based programs. HISTORY In 2006, Bob and Frances formed the Robert and Frances Chaney Family Foundation because they wanted to do something in keeping with being good stewards of Gods money by helping those in need. Bob cared deeply about children and families, with a special concern for public safety personnel, their families and the many wonderful organizations they represent, including fire and police departments. The geographic areas were chosen because the family has resided in Southern Oregon and Barry County, Missouri, and Robert's hometown was in Cabell County, West Virginia. Upon Bob's passing in October 2006, Frances Chaney took over the role of President with the determination to carry out the Foundation’s vision.
