Backed by the prestige and resources of one of the world’s top public universities, we are on the leading edge of change and focused on the future, fostering a collaborative culture that supports and challenges, one that is constantly infused with new energy, an experimental mindset, and interdisciplinary pursuits. In pursuit of these ideals for over 100 years, we offer a range of degree programs from pre-professional to post-professional to Ph.D. in architecture, urban design, urban and regional planning, urban technology, and real estate development. The intellectual diversity at Taubman College makes it an ideal environment to experiment and collaborate within and across disciplines as our students explore different paths and passions. Our [field-leading faculty](https://taubmancollege.umich.edu/faculty/directory/) are scholars, educators, and researchers with broad expertise and interests. Their commitment to student success is one of the greatest strengths of our college. We are constantly evaluating and evolving our approach to education and investing in new techniques and technologies, such as those in our renowned [Digital Fabrication and Robotics Lab](https://taubmancollege.umich.edu/about/facilities/digital-fabrication-lab/) (FABLab) and our new [Taubman Visualization Lab](https://taubmancollege.umich.edu/about/facilities/taubman-visualization-lab/) (TVLab). Such resources complement our curriculum and encourage our ethos of experimentation with the most innovative tools possible to develop and communicate ideas and solutions. Our [students](https://taubmancollege.umich.edu/students/profiles/) experience their Taubman education in partnership with other critical thinkers, innovators, and lifelong learners. They come from all over the United States and around the world with unique backgrounds and ambitions that make Taubman College a dynamic and inclusive place to live and learn. They bring an enthusiasm for supporting and challenging one another that continues long after they join the ranks of one of the most diverse and passionate [alumni](https://taubmancollege.umich.edu/alumni/) communities anywhere in the world. Taubman College has a long educational tradition grounded in [U-M’s mission](https://president.umich.edu/about/mission/) to promote the public good.
