United Way of Northern British Columbia

**United Way BC – North** Formerly United Way Northern BC (UWNBC). Currently serving 32 communities, and dozens of First Nations, we have a commitment to the region, standing with the people, working in the communities, and extending the arm of support to those who are in need. **On October 1st, United Way of Northern British Columbia (UWNBC) joined with United Way British Columbia to better streamline administration and leverage the larger organization’s centralized services.** Since 1967, UWNBC has supported communities through a wide range of initiatives that have reached thousands of people. Some of our key initiatives currently include the Coastal GasLink Legacy Fund, [Tree of Lights](https://uwbc.ca/campaign/tree-of-lights/) in Prince George, and our Urgent Response Fund to support wildfire relief in the region.
