U.S. Embassy in Uganda

The United States shares a strong and enduring partnership with the Ugandan people to help build a healthy, vibrant society where every Ugandan child, woman, and man has opportunities to achieve their full potential. Through 13 government agencies, the United States invests almost $1 billion annually in Ugandan communities to promote economic growth and employability, to improve health and education, to uphold democratic values, and to strengthen security. Today millions of Ugandans are living healthy, learning better, earning more, or participating more fully in their communities because of this investment. The U.S. Mission in Uganda is composed of several offices and organizations all working under the auspices of the Embassy and at the direction of the Ambassador.
