Biography
Kerry Monahan-Price is a Researcher at Chapin Hall. She provides support to U.S. States around the use of their administrative data to understand and improve their child welfare systems. Kerry is currently working with NYC and TN as they roll out their Title IV-E Waiver Demonstration initiatives. She also contributes to work done with Oklahoma DHS providing technical support around their ongoing use of administrative data to track core outcomes. In addition to these projects, Ms. Price is working on a WT Grant funded research study wherein Chapin Hall is studying the use of research evidence among child welfare agencies in New York State and its impact on outcomes for children and families. Ms. Price’s early work at Chapin Hall included participating in several program evaluations taking place in NYC, the most central of which was the Improved Outcomes for Children Initiative. Prior to joining Chapin Hall, Kerry worked as a jury consultant with a NYC based litigation consulting firm. She also worked as a researcher in both mental health and substance abuse treatment settings. Kerry Monahan-Price holds a M.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Psychology from St. John’s University.
