Description
Office of Information and Resource Management (OIRM) Welcome to the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Office of Information and Resource Management (OIRM). Our mission is to provide human resource management and general administrative and logistic support functions to the NSF community of scientists, engineers, and educators as well as to the general public. OIRM is also the home of the NSF Labor Relations Officer (LRO), who provides advisory services on labor relations. This includes term and midterm negotiations, Unfair Labor Practices, negotiated grievances and general labor contract administration. In addition, the Labor Relations Officer provides advisory services on the alternative dispute resolution program, flexible work schedules, telework and pay policy. The Division of Administrative Services (DAS) supports the day-to-day business of the agency by providing for the overall physical infrastructure, operating conference and meeting facilities, and taking a leadership role in disseminating information about NSF's programs to the external community. The Division of Human Resource Management (HRM) supports staffing and personnel service requirements for the agency's approximately 1,500 staff members, including visiting scientists, engineers and educators.
